At PEHP, we're committed to helping you find quality care at great value. Our PEHP Cost Tools are designed to take the guesswork out of your healthcare expenses. Here’s how you can use them:
- Find In-Network Providers & See Costs: Search for in-network doctors, hospitals, and healthcare providers, view costs for common services, and read reviews from other PEHP members.
- Compare Medical Costs: Compare prices for common medical services across different provider types and locations. You can also find cash back opportunities of up to $2,000 on eligible services.
- Compare Prescription Costs: Compare prescription prices based on your medical condition, and find cash back opportunities on eligible medications.*
Cash Back eligible services include:
- Colonoscopies
- MRIs and CT scans
- Some same-day surgeries
- Some inpatient stays
- Some medications
How to Get Started
- Log in to Your PEHP Account: Go to the Find Providers & Costs menu and select Find a Doctor or Hospital.

Search for Services or Medications: Under the Compare Medical Costs tab, you can search for services. Your results will display the service at different locations, along with provider names and costs. To compare prescription costs, use the Compare Prescription Costs tab.

See Cash Back Opportunities & Apply: If Cash Back is available for the service or medication, you’ll see a Cash Back indicator next to the location and provider name. To qualify for Cash Back and before receiving services, you must complete the Cash Back Program Application and submit to PEHP via the secure Message Center available when you login to your PEHP account. A Health Benefits Advisor will tell you how much Cash Back you can expect to receive.
- Complete Service: Once you apply, you have 90 days to complete the service. After PEHP processes your claim, please allow up to 60 days to receive your Cash Back. Please note this is taxable income and FICA is withheld. The total Cash Back amount cannot exceed $3,900 per calendar year.
